Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Kensington K33902US Bluetooth USB Micro Adapter

Customer Review: Add a bluetooth mouse and printer to your older laptop
Summary: 5 Stars

I purchased this device because I started to accumulate bluetooth compatible products without being able to use them on slightly older products. It is being used in a Dell D410 laptop to print over bluetooth and use a bluetooth mouse with one small dongle.

It sticks out a little more than I would have liked, but it is not a deal breaker. The bluetooth devices paired easily and I have not encountered any background processes stealing more resources than necessary, and no degradation in speed. It connects to a Microsoft Bluetooth Mouse 5000 and an HP Photosmart Premium (c309g).

Customer Review: Good Bluetooth for Linux Mint/Ubuntu Karmic
Summary: 5 Stars

I was a little nervous about this, since Bluetooth support in Linux is sketchy. My goal here was to be able to use Skype and other conferencing/SIP solutions with my Bluetooth headset, and still be paired with my phone. I was stoked to find that this little thing worked out-of-box with Linux Mint Helena (based on Ubuntu 9.10), no driver install necessary, no mucking about on the command line - it Just Worked. I very quickly paired my headset, switched audio input/outputs, tested Skype and found that to my relief everything works great.

Customer Review: Little wonder
Summary: 5 Stars

PROS: Bought it more than a month ago. This device does its job very well. It was just plug in and let (in my case) Windows 7 Home Premium do the rest. It took less than a minute for the Windows to install its driver. I did not use the CD and I do not recommend using the CD to install this product in Windows 7. Let Windows 7 do the work for you and avoid problems this way.
CONS: Small as it is, the corners are a little too prominent, and too sharp-pointed.
I highly reccommend this product. Deserves the 5 stars.

Customer Review: Eee PC Friendly
Summary: 5 Stars

I purchased this adapter for use with my Eee PC 900A and my Sony Ericsson C905a (as a modem where there is no free wifi).

That being said this little device works great! I did not install the drivers that were included on the disc, and everything worked on both ubuntu and windows xp. The Sony Ericsson PC Suite is able to connect to my phone while still in my pocket, or backpack (approx 3 feet away). I have not tested the range of connectivity.

For me this device serves it's purpose.

Customer Review: Very Handy and Sleek
Summary: 5 Stars

This BT usb is my first and I can't complain, its tiny, I never take it out and it goes in and out of my backpack all day! It has never dropped my devices, even when there is 3 connected at once, BT headset, Phone, Mouse. Another bonus for me is that Linux Ubuntu recognized it right away, had a few minor problems getting my mouse to connect, but that was within ubuntu and it was easily fixed.

I can't think of any cons...it costs money? thats about it!
