I am known at home and work as being technology challenged. Most computer anything I get someone has to help me hook it up and figure out how it works. I was able to get this, hook it up, and begin using it right away! I have my wireless keyboard and mouse hooked up and several thumb drives plugged in with all my pictures. I've never had a problem with it failing. I highly recommend this - it's been a lifesaver. Great product. I thought having all ports on the same "side" would be a problem, but not at all. I say "side" because it's round. I should've said the back. 7 ports seemed like an odd amount. I thought 6 or 8, but in hindsight 7 is fine. My keyboard, mouse, bluetooth, and palm dock are always plugged in. Then I have the included free led lamp plugged into the top all the time. Leaves me 2 free ports for temporary misc use. Like the camera, and flash drives.Customer Review: Compact but Full Featured

The hub takes little disk space but has room for all my USB components, including a handy top port that works great for the transmitter for my wireless keyboard and mouse, eliminating the need for the wired extension that came with them. The weighted base and rubber feet hold the dome in place, unlike the old one that was always sliding off the computer and around the desk. Plus, the 2.0 is significantly faster than the old-style USB I had.Customer Review: The perfect hub...?

This is the coolest looking hub I've seen around amazon. It's not heavy but it's sturdy enough to stay put on my desk. Every USB port is easily accessible and it has an external power supply. The lights on this aren't bright, to not cause distractions. I'm really loving the included flexible neck LED light. It's only one LED, so it's not very bright, but will illuminate something like your keyboard in a dark room. Overall, I love this hub.Customer Review: Great little device!

I just love this little hub. It is so functional and the domed design means that you can plug in a ton of peripherals without taking up a lot of desk space. It has been about a year since I purchased this hub and it still works wonderfully. I have not had a single problem with it since I plugged it in. The port on the top is especially useful if you have a device that you plug in and unplug often. Very highly recommend this USB hub.
