Not the cheapest iPhone charger out there, but it is well made and the USB cable plugs in solidly. As others have mentioned, you can charge any USB device with this as well while on the go. I was pretty happy with this item. It has a fuse inside to keep your device safe. The build quality of the unit is also very high quality. Simple and inexpensive, providing a powered USB port you can use to charge anything. If the blue light bothers you, rotate it while plugged in and you can't even see it, or put a piece of tape over it :p

This is a top quality charger. I had bought two cheap chargers, and both of them quickly broke. Both the cable and the adapter are very sturdy (the cable is actually pretty thick) and in my opinion should last a long time.
