A very robust lock. It fits well on my thin MacBook Pro, and does not crowd out the adjacent USB port for most USB devices (an exception is my original iPod Shuffle, which is too wide for most adjacent ports). The straight key fits better on my key ring than a tubular key, appears secure enough, and rips open a mean parcel. The one drawback for me is that the heavy cable is parallel to the body of the lock. This precludes the use of a mouse alongside the lock side of my laptop.Customer Review: Looks good, works great

My law firm has invested more than a buck or two in laptop computers and no one is going to steal them. We installed these computer locks on our desks, and it has worked out great. The cable is super heavy-duty and easily unlocks for when you hit the road. We bolted the cables to the desks; there are a variety of ways to handle that issue. This system looks very professional and works great. No office should own a laptop without this security system in place.Customer Review: Buy Yourself Peace of Mind.

This product works great. Just tie a loop to a bedpost or anything that stays in place and you'll know where your laptop will be when you get back from the bathroom. It is really easy to use and the cable is pretty heavy and strong. Unless someone is carrying around huge heavy-duty scissors, your laptop will be safe. The cable is pretty long too. I recommend this product for peace of mind.

I bought this lock for my hp dv4 laptop. My job requires me to leave my desk a lot and this lock is perfect! The cable is very thick and would take some time to cut through it. The lock is very solid and 2 keys are provided for you. To lock it to your notebook you only need to use one hand but you do need to make sure to push the lock quite hard into your kensington slot. I recommend this product to anyone that has to leave there notebook alone.Customer Review: Great lock.

Good length. Fits snuggly in my PC laptop.
Locking into place is somewhat tedious as all the parts swivel for flexibility. I also have to turn my computer on its end to get the lock in place, which means it has to be closed to do so. I assume this is intrisic to all locks, but thought I would mention it.
I would buy this same lock again if I needed another, and I highly recommend it.
