I installed this bell in the beginning of April. It had nowhere near the range stated in its description. Within the first month, the rubber seal on the pushbutton split and fell off. Then the bell stopped functioning in its original location. I had to move the bell to the inside wall opposite the location of the pushbutton for it to work. As of yesterday it has stopped functioning altogether. The pushbutton apparently is transmitting (red LED lights when button is pushed), but the bell/flashing light unit is dead. Bottom line...I kept the battery and threw the rest away. Be aware and beware!Customer Review: Very very weak chime

I thought I was buying a real door bell or chime, instead it sounds more like a jewelry box. One reviewer (to whom I should have listened) said the sound range was 20 feet ..... I suggest that was a very generous range .... to me it would be more like 5 feet if there is any radio or TV. Also, the included battery ..... was not included. If I can figure out how .... I'm sending it back.
