Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Seiko DM50S Clip Digital Metronome (Silver)Customer Review: Simple to Use Summary: 5 Stars
I am new to the violin and this made it a lot easier. The function is very simple to understand and I picked up on it pretty fast. The overall appearance is very simple to understand that I didn't have to read the instructions. Some things I still need to learn though like time signatures and the like I will have to wait on. For me being a beginner it just made things more simplified for me to learn and the price isn't that bad compared to others. The only thing that caught me was how small it was since I was expecting something about the size of my palm. Its actually smaller and makes it easier to carry around without taking up to much space. I am self teaching so it is very nice to learn to count beats and keep pace with either no beeps and a flashing light or beeps depending on what I need at my own pace. The beep can be annoying and the volume choices aren't really there but still not a big deal. I am a beginner like I said so this is new to me but I would recommend this to beginners looking for a good somewhat cheap metronome with good enough features to get you started.
Customer Review: just what i needed! Summary: 5 Stars
1. simple to use
2. fits day-to-day needs
3. LOVE how i can clip it onto music stand - perfect
4. it's small and doesn't take up much room in my case! (sometimes i even clip it onto the carrying strap)
5. CLOCK - hold the power button down a little longer when turning the metronome function off, the time
will appear on the screen, and will remain there until you turn it off.
this has come in handy for gigs, especially.
5. some reviews said the high(er) pitch was annoying - i don't mind it!
granted, my primary instrument and voice are both "soprano"
6. no tuning pitch "A"
Customer Review: Works as it says it should Summary: 5 Stars
I ordered the metronome on 15th Dec and got it today 24th Dec! It is working as it should. I bought it to improve my walking/jogging/running. Look forward to use it in the gym and at the KLCC park.
Thank you for all the prior comments. I bought it based on your good input, and although the product is pricey, I believe it will last for a long time, unless I misplace it cos it is so cutey small.
Cheers from Kuala Lumpur
p.s. You can find me jogging with our group at the park near the Twin Towers. Join us there!
Customer Review: Metronome for non-musical use Summary: 5 Stars
I bought this metronome for athletic training, specifically running. The device is easy to use and clips on clothing or brim of a hat. The volume has five settings and unless you are in traffic, the lowest setting is sufficient. The metronome gives you immediate feedback on each stride or movement cycle and allows you to set and know your pace in advance and change your pace troughout a training run. This is an excellent training aid at a minimual cost.
Customer Review: Compact Metronome Summary: 5 Stars
I purchased this item to help set a cadence in my golf swing, on the recommendation of a friend who had tried the method. This metronome is easy to use, very portable (even has a clip so you can clip it to your belt), and loud enough for you to hear but not so loud as to be a nuisance to others who might be close by. Additionally, it is durable and is a relatively inexpensive item that has been reliable. Using this has helped my golf swing tempo, also.
