Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Jabra SP5050 Bt SpeakerphoneCustomer Review: Sleek form factor and AMAZING battery life! Summary: 5 Stars
I've been using this speakerphone in my car now for over a month now on the ORIGINAL charge and its still going strong. I make and receive about 10-15 calls on it daily. The battery life on this thing is amazing! The sound quality is not bad either although the volume could be a little bit louder at its highest setting. I love the slim design and often forget its even clipped on my visor due to it being so thin. I purchased the Jabra SP5050 to replace the BlueAnt Supertooth II which broke after only a month. Overall I'm very satisfied with this Jabra and would buy it again in a heartbeat. Highly recommended!
Customer Review: Very Pleased Summary: 5 Stars
The most important thing to consider is the sound quality. Speakerphones are notoriously bad. This one, however is pretty good.
People I talk to on it don't know I'm on a speakerphone. Their voice quality is slightly tinny, but not distorted and still very intelligible. In every way it's better than a headset I tried, which was tedious, didn't sound good, and hurt my ear.
I was able to clip the speakerphone onto the visor OVER the CD wallet thing. The clip is very flexible. The face of it acts as a universal button for power on/off and making/ending calls.
Customer Review: Works as advertised Summary: 5 Stars
We now have 2 of these as in CA you need this or one of those things that looks like a large tumor on your ear. We have used it around the house as a speakerphone and, of course, in the car. So far no one is able to tell we are using the Jabra if we don't tell them. The sound quality...excellant. Tip: Get the $10-11 charger Amazon offers. A lot of cars will not activate the cigerette lighter unless the car is running. Unless you have a 2 hour trip planned to charge it (you can't use it until fully charged the first time)at $4 plus for petro this would be a bargain.
Customer Review: Great little auto speakerphone Summary: 5 Stars
Got this for my wife so she could dispense with the earpiece and take calls when necessary while driving. Since NJ enacted the cell-phone penalty while driving, these should sell very well. Small enough that it does not present a visual distraction, but large enough you can hit it to answer or initiate calls. Audio quality is good, microphone does block some noise, dependent on your car's road-noise your results will vary. 12 hours talk time, 200 standby, and it has an auto shutoff feature to preserve battery life. Buy one now.
Customer Review: Does what it should Summary: 5 Stars
Does exactly what I would expect. It just works! Easy to pair with my Blackberry 8830, plenty of volume from the speaker. People I call do not complain about voice quality so must be good enough! Only slight negative is only included charging solution is a 12V car charger but Amazon does have a AC to 12V converter for about $12. So far I have not bought it, claimed stand by time of 200 hours seems real so do not have to charge very often. Auto shut off after 15 minutes of no blue-tooth connect helps save the battery.
