Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Jabra SP5050 Bt SpeakerphoneCustomer Review: Excellent clarity, volume, & battery life Summary: 5 Stars
I've had this product for a month and love it. Very good sound quality for both sides of the call. Volume is loud enough that I can hear with no problem and the people on the receiving end have told me that the volume tends to be a little on the loud side...so there is no need to "elevate" your voice like you do with many speakerphones. You can "press and hold" the button for about 3 seconds and it will activate the voice dial feature on my phone. It was super easy to sync (I have a Motorola Krzr phone). The battery life is impressive. After a month of use I have only charged it the initial time. I use it almost every day on my drive home from work (about 15 minutes) and also fairly often on the weekends. The profile is very slim so you could easily toss this into your briefcase or purse. I've been very pleased with the quality and ease of use. I highly recommend it and would definitely buy it again.
Customer Review: Insist on AC charging? Summary: 5 Stars
Good quality manufacture, clear sound, pleasing looks, and Bluetooth 2.0 (pairs easily with my Motorola W385 and maintains strong connections) are what I found in the Jabra SP5050 speakerphone. The attached visor clip is fine and thin, non-damaging to the visor, and slightly angled providing some support when laid on a desktop or table. The operating lights are not distracting to me in day or night driving, and I haven't used the night driving mode. Easy operation by brief press or press and hold sequences with one hand. The car charger is the only provided power option, but I searched among Amazon's other products and found a suitable adapter for AC charging indoors.

Customer Review: Awesome. Best hands-free bluetooth ever made Summary: 5 Stars
Buy this. Stop shopping around and wasting your time, just buy this.
This device is worth twice as much as any other supposed hands-free bluetooth device. It pairs easily, works reliable, never 'forgets' a pairing. It's the loudest I've seen (but could still be louder, I suppose). My wife and I each have one that we use with our iPhones, and have had 0 complaints. I can even use it in my convertible with the top down at low speeds. Nothing works on the highway.
It's cool that it will power itself down 15 minutes after the last pairing, so you don't have to remember to shut it off when you leave your car.
It's slender and attractive, unlike bulky competitors.
I've bought and returned the Parrot and Motorola devices before finding this one. Night and day difference.
Customer Review: The best BT handsfree I have used Summary: 5 Stars
I have owned 3 different Jabra over the ear type handsfree BT devices before this one over the past 5 years, and they have all been very reliable and provide great sound quality (both incoming and outgoing)... until I lost them one by one. The SP5050 has been working great out of the box, took me all but one minute to link it to my phone (AT&T 8525) and call quality is excellent at both end (due to Active noise cancellation). Haven't used it enough to test the battery life yet, but so far, it has been 4 days and perhaps 5-6 hours of talk time without low battery indicator. You won't be disappointed with this product at all.
Customer Review: Works as it's supposed to Summary: 5 Stars
I hate those ear things. And Best Buy had about 500 different ear things and 1 speakerphone model (which was sold out). So I came to Amazon and this one looked good, based on the reviews. I ordered it, and it works just like it's supposed to. The people on the other end can hear me clearly, and I can hear them well also. The battery doesn't last as long as I would like, but it's in southern California where I know my car gets hotter than the recommended storage temp, and they warn the battery could drain if it gets too hot. So hopefully this will only be a summer problem. Anyway, I like it and I'd recommend it.
