Customer Review: Amazing Performance for Price

I bought these after reading many reviews on Amazon while searching for a new set of affordable (for a college student) earbuds. After reading a negative review, and then the follow up from the JBuds team, and eventually the update on the review praising the amazing customer service, I decided to follow through and purchase these.
I've gone through many pairs of headphones and earphones, and by comparison alone to the last three sets of earphones I've bought, these are by far the best. In fact the only other earbuds that I've purchased that were better (and only slightly so) than these cost me $80 and $60.
Even before the burn in period, I was quite happy with the audio quality, only noticing muffled highs for about the first hour of use. Range is good, as is the max volume. The earbuds are very comfortable, and I haven't had the problems of them falling out of my ears that i've had with so many other products.
The only times ive noticed discomfort from the product themselves is when using them for an extended period of time (>45min) while wearing a beanie, which pushed the buds into my ear slightly further than I would have liked.
For the price, these earbuds were absolutely amazing, and I'm completely satisfied with them.

There are 3 reasons that you should consider these headphones:
1. At this price you won't find a better sounding pair. You would have to spend $80-100 more to find something comparable.
2. The customer service is the best I've ever experienced.
Full Disclosure: My first pair of J2's, purchased in September of last year, broke after 7 months of steady use. The separated slightly at the point where the wire runs into the jack, and this caused the left headphone to stop working. I wrote to Jlab's customer service with information on my purchase, and within 2 hours had a reply offering a replacement pair, which were sent out that day and received 2 days later. That's a tremendous guarantee, meaning that you can experience tremendous sound quality and know that if anything at all happens to your headphones, they will take care of you. I can't say enough about the quality of that interaction and it is why I am writing this review.
3. This is a major upgrade over your Ipod headphones. They sound far better than much more cumbersome full ear pairs and offer the same noise cancellation effect.
I highly recommend you consider purchasing these headphones. You will not be disappointed.

These earbuds are just the best! The Black/Mint Green J2's I received have amazing sound quality that is incomparable amongst in-ear headphones in the market today. I have "odd-shaped" ears, and the small/medium/large interchangeable ear inserts are very handy and fit comfortably in my ear; this is a first for me with this style of earbuds.
These earbuds live up to their 'noise-cancelling' name! I have used them in very crowded and loud areas and have found a quiet sanctuary for me and my music without having to blast it through my headphones. On the flipside, I have found these to leak out little to no sound when used in a very quiet area.
They have a very refined sound quality to them. I've noticed that the bass end comes out very defined instead of boomy and loud, in comparison to other headphones. You can hear most, if not all, of the nuances and sounds of your music without having to play your music at full volume.
I feel that this product is worth every penny that it costs. I have used the predecessor ear buds to this version and just absolutely loved them. They lasted a long time, kept their quality, and was worth the price. I'm expecting nothing less of these ear buds! They are most definitely worth the price.
Customer Review: Best In-Ears I've Had

I've had quite a few pairs of in-ear headphones (I must be rough with them as they always crap out on me) and these JBuds are definitely my favorite so far.
I tend to shop for in-ears for less than $40 (since I go through them quite a bit) and this pair was less than $20, which was a plus right away. I was worried, however, that they would feel and sound cheap when I got them, but it's quite the contrary. These feel like the highest-quality in-ears I've owned; the heads have a nice solid feel to them and the splice in the cord is the best I've seen.
The sound quality is excellent; the bass is especially impressive. The higher-frequencies might be a tad bit lacking, but not terribly so. I prefer less highs rather than too much (I've read that JLab boosted the highs in their new headphones, but many people think they're now too bright).
I listen to a wide-range of music (everything from classical to hard rock to techno to indie) and it all sounds great. Again, the bass frequencies are especially impressive with the techno music.
If you're looking for a pair of higher-quality headphones without emptying your wallet, these headphones are an excellent choice.

I purchased these after much research into medium priced headphones. I had bought several 10-15 dollar pairs prior to this purchase. My big problem had been one side short outs.
So far, I am very pleased with my purchase. Straight out of the box sound was great. I know i read in here something about there being no high end acoustics. I too had this problem. Since these are isolating, they tend to define low-end more. All that is needed to correct for this problem in a change in eq (which is easily done on a computer, mp3 player or other playback devide). Now, these sound great. Don't expect the quality of a musician pair of isolation headphones like the shure ones, but you can expect them to sound like a top of the line everyday listening pair. That is what they are to me at least.
The isolation on these is great. I'm a drummer, and i have always had to wear a pair of construction earcovers over my headphones when playing in order to hear the music. With these, I turn my ipod to about 3/5 its limit and have the perfect mix of music and my own drumming.
To sum up, I would definately reccomend these if you are looking for an everyday headphone with high-end quality.
