Customer Review: It's as good as a five speaker system
Summary: 5 Stars

These speakers arrived in the mail yesterday and I love them already. The sound is great. The bass has got some real punch but remains crisp--never muddy--and the treble is clear. However my favorite part about these speakers is the surround sound. Among other genres, I like to listen to electronica and normally, to really appreciate the music, I have to pull out my head phones. However, when I set these babies up and turned them on, I was absolutely amazed. How could these speakers produce close to the same quality of surround sound as my $200 Sennheiser phones? I set the sticks up at about 3 1/2 feet away from me and about 7 feet apart, and sounds, that on my phones sound directly in front of me, were exacly the same coming from the sticks, even though they were no where near directly in front of me; same with behind and to the side. The music came from places that, logically, it shouldn't come from. The sticks completely evelope you in the music unlike any other multimedia speakers I've known. I am a college student and in my dorm I've listened to at least a dozen similar systems--most of them more expensive than the $135 dollars I paid for these--but not a single set had the same sound quality. I would recommend them to anyone.

Customer Review: Best set of 2.1's on the market
Summary: 5 Stars

Let me start off by saying these speakers are phenomenal. If you really don't want to read this, just go buy them. They are worth it. Otherwise, read on:

I'm not quite an audiophile, but close. For as long as I can remember, my dad has had the latest and greatest in stereo and surround sound equipment around the house and I got used to that kind of quality. So, when I heard these speakers for the first time, I was amazed. They produce incredible highs and rich deep lows so well that I had to have a set. When I got them home, I connected them to my computer first and tried them out. They sounded even better than they did at the store. I had to move them into the living room and try them out where the acoustics were better. I hooked them to my iPod (iPod EQ set on Rock) and started The Verve's "Bittersweet Symphony" (a great song to test high, low and midrange, by the way). The sound just filled the room. Before then, if you had told me that a little pair of speakers and a small sub could put out that kind of sound, I would have laughed at you.

I can honestly say that these are the best sounding 2.1 speakers on the market and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Customer Review: "Soundsticks are amazing!" says the college student
Summary: 5 Stars

I bought these from amazon and they are the best speakers EVER! Well, i'm just simple college english major who enjoys loud music with excellent to superb bass. I got all of that out of the Soundsticks and they look awesome!

When I received these from Amazon they worked perfectly for a week and then suddenly stopped. I am going to assume this was just a buggy piece of technology since I know a handful of other people who have never experienced problems with the Soundsticks. This bad experience was COMPLETELY WASHED AWAY by Amazon's amazing return policy. I told them my speakers broke and they shipped me brand-new identical speakers NEXT DAY after I had filed the complaint at 8PM. Amazing.

Amazon rocks and Soundsticks are even better.

If you want aweeeesome sound, with awwwwwesome bass and aaaawesome looking speakers than the soundsticks are for you. If you're really into your sound, like your job has to do w/ music then I bet you'd probably want to buy yourself something much more expensive & high-tech but for young adults to adults who just wanna listen to some freakin tunage loudly with amazing quality, well the SOUNDSTICKS ARE FOR YOU!

Customer Review: Great product
Summary: 5 Stars

First off, if you want these to sound like a nice 5.1 system you spent $2500 on i suggest you save your money and buy a more expensive product. Now, if you want to be realistic with yourself these speakers are great! ive had mine for over 3 years now and i still am using them and they still are in perfect condition. they have survived many moves and stayed safe. they have been used both as computer speakers and a main stereo in my living room. They can get pretty loud as well. i have had the cops show up to my house because of how loud they can get. the little sub bumps just fine and has a knob so you can adjust it. right now i have to keep it almost all the way down or i get complaints at night. im really trying to prove my point that these things can bump and you shouldnt listen to the reviews saying they cant. i listen to a wide variety of music and it all sounds great. the blue light does stay on at all times, but unless you need a pitch black room you should be fine. its far better then having a street light outside your room, and couldnt even be used as a nightlight. so if youre on a budget but still want to make some noise i would recommend theses to anyone.

Customer Review: Soundsticks WOW!
Summary: 5 Stars

As a huge fan of music i was tired of my tinny laptop speaker, and tired of giant recievers taking up all of my desk space. So i ventured to the store to see what i could do about my dillema. I looked at the JBL creature speakers first. with the sub the sounded ok, but without it the sounded horrible. I came to the Harmon Kardan brand speakers, and was impressed. The highs were clear and concise and the low were great so i purchased them. I hooked them up in minutes witht he satellite speakrs on my desk about 3 feet apart angled towards me, and the sub on the floor out of sight. First song i played was counting crows friend of the devil a grateful dead cover, and i was blown away. The vocals were so clear and the when the bass hit i smiled, i love a good bass response. After that i threw in some 2pac, the opposite end of the spectrum. The music flowed in to my ears, crisp, clean, and sharp, with no muddy bass sound. After That i decided to go with Alison Krauss, i played "Down to the River to Pray" a vocal track and couldnt believe my ears. So beautiful.
Overall i love these speakers. Great Looking, better sounding, and at $169, not too pricey. GET THESE, youll love em.
