I'm sorry that I ever saw the discussion about this item being on Woot for a $20.00 savings below Amazon's price. This concept is a great idea, but in execution this machine fails completely. The tracking buttons do absolutely nothing at all as the machines goes up and down the scale at random. The saved video is grainy, wavy, and has lines running through it, and the sound is terrible, with no way to adjust anything.
The Arcsoft drivers are not compatible with my Win XP Pro OS, and I was warned by the OS when I started to install the software. It messed up other video drivers in my computer that had been working fine, until I installed this Ion system. It took me over an hour and a half to get that crap completely out of my computer so that my HDTV converter would work again. There is NO customer service or support on this item.
Yeah, I saved $20.00 by buying it from Woot, but lost about $70.00 and two hours of my life because I can't return this imitation electronic piece of garbage.
