This is a great drive with an amazing 1 TB of storage space you can sit this on your desk and backup any files to it. Along with the drive comes free software for backing up files. Downloadable from Iomega, you can choose from a few different types of FREE software. This is also MAC compatible for you Apple eaters - it just needs to be reformatted to do so which is a piece of cake. The colors and chrome ends look very stylish and classy. Noise? What noise as there is none when it is working. There is a white light on the top to let you know it is working and there is a power switch on the pack. The only draw back for me and it isn't much is the size. 8 inches long - it is no big deal but if it were 5 inches I would buy a few of these instead of just one. I still give it 5 stars because it deserves it!
