I bought this because my MacBook Pro was taking quite the beating in my bag with my books. The case is thin but the protection it adds is excellent. It's very easy to grip and has a nice feeling to it. The only problem is the material does not breath at all so if your laptop gets stuck on or manages to wake up in the case, it will get EXTREMELY hot. I'm honestly surprised my case didn't catch fire when it happened to me. Other than that, no problems at all.
