Customer Review: At last I know where my CD/DVDs ARE!

The Stakka works GREAT - just like it is described in the sales writeups. I insert my CD or DVD into my computer's drive - the Stakka software automatically opens and asks if I wish to add this disc to the data base. I simply name it and enter any information into the 'comments' tab page and the software loads the directory of my disc into its database. The search feature works great. I can ask for any words that are part of the title or the folders content and it locates the disc immediately. A quick right click on 'eject' and the Stakka hands it to me.
The software keeps track of which discs are in the unit and which discs are still out. When I return a disc to the unit, it shows a list of ejected discs. I then simply select the name of the disc that I am returning - the Stakka re-loads it and it's ready to be quickly found the next time that I need it.
I use both a PC and a MAC G4 dual processor computer and engage in a lot of photographic work. The indexing data base for Stakka only needs to live on one computer.
The Stakka indexing data base is very easy to back up, so every time I add new discs, I finish up with a backup as the last step.
I plan to purchase a second unit, since CD/DVDs seem to multiply over night in the dark!
I haven't found a reason not to like it so far.
