Customer Review: Finally some warning

This is a great invention but I only gave it three stars because wile it is a relief that I can detect the UFO I cant do any thing.
I give it 5 stars in convenience because it is such a relief not to get probed unexpectedly, I now know when it is going to happen.
I give it only 1 star in usefulness because I still can't stop those pesky aliens. I am looking forward to the probe deflector witch will hopefully come soon.

I read all the reviews, and you were all saying it was fantastic. So I bought two. Surprise ! Just a little plastic thing with a non-included 9-volt battery. So I bought two. Totally inefficient, useless piece of decoration.
With all that, I got slapped in the face by E.T. while I was sleeping, again.

I purchased a UFO-01 a while back and I must say, it had served me well. I personally think that it wards off aliens, as it has not uttered a peep in the last thirty years. A couple months ago, the 9-volt battery in my UFO-01 detector leaked lithium all over the device. Imagine how disappointed I was! Anyways, I figured that it was probably time for a new detector. I noticed that Image SI had come out with an updated version of the UFO-01 for the same price, so I decided to upgrade. My main concern in purchasing was the lack of Alien-prevention technology, which is standard in many comparable devices, in the UFO-02. But as I learned in school, first is the worst and second is the best so I took the plunge. Plus, it is only $150, a relative bargain as anyone who knows anything about alien detecting can tell you.
Setup and installation was a breeze. I put it up on my roof for optimal alien-detecting and promptly felt reassured that I could once again tell when aliens were finally coming to our fair planet. However, the very first night, the built in LED started flashing and a loud, persistent beeping awoke my entire neighborhood. I, of course, recognized that aliens were coming and grabbed my katana from under my pillow. No aliens were going to anally probe me. But after extensive searching around my entire town, disguised as a lamppost, I found no traces of aliens anywhere.
I can only conclude that the UFO-02 must have sent out a false alarm. I am fairly unhappy about this as my UFO-01 had never even once sounded a false alarm. Also, my neighbors are fairly unhappy with me, even though I was simply acting in their best interests when I razed their houses in search of aliens. I had viewed Image SI as a manufacturer of quality equipment but obviously that perception must be re-evaluated. Additionally, I had to climb back onto my roof to turn off the device, and the battery ran out within three days. Those 9V lithium batteries aren't cheap, you know, and Image SI doesn't even include one with the product. I intend to write an angry letter to the company.

I don't think this product works at all. I've been using it for several weeks now and it's gone off a couple times in a big way, but they've all been false alarms.
About the second night after I first received this detector I remember it going off like crazy, right before I fell asleep. When I woke up the next morning, though I couldn't remember falling asleep, and my anus was really sore and I had sunburns on only one side of my body, there was no sign of any aliens.
I took this out to my uncle's farm in the country one evening, since I wanted to see how it worked away from all the electronic interference of the big city. It was again another huge false alarm. It again went off at night, and we again found no signs of aliens in the morning. My uncle and I noticed that some of his cattle and fallen over and accidentally disemboweled themselves, which my uncle was upset about. And some kids from his neighborhood flattened out some of his crops in an elaborate design, but we could see no signs of aliens.
Every time this thing goes off and I go outside to check out the sky, all I see are things like a weather balloons or unexplained atmospheric phenomena, but no aliens.
I would seriously recommend against purchasing this product.

At first I thought this was a toy or scam, but the device has changed everything. I am now more aware of my surroundings. Last week I adverted an alien abduction. During my trip to new mexico, the alien detector setoff while I was relaxing in my hotel room. Needless to say, I packed my things and left. Had I stayed one more minute who knows what would have happened to me. If I had one complain is that it does not connect to my Iphone. I would be ideal if it did. I carry my Iphone everywhere at home. I don't necessarily want to carry the alien detector. If this could call my Iphone or send text messages, it would be great. Timing is everything!
