Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Ideazon Reaper Gaming MouseCustomer Review: It works Summary: 4 Stars
I am an avid gamer and have been wanting a mouse with more buttons I could macro for my WoW gameing. This is porbly the best bang for your buck your gona get. 3 buttons I have set to usefull in game things and a adjustable sensitivity for when my brother plays and wants to slow it down. Its nice to be able to adjust the sensitivity with just 1 button click. The only problem I have had is the size. my mouse pad has a wrist wrest on it and there have been times I could not scroll down to what I needed quick enough. This can easly meen death in the gameing world. But at such a low price I feel it was worth it. Everything lives up to expectations exept the size. Just a little to long. Hope that helps someone.
Customer Review: Great buget mouse Summary: 4 Stars
1600 dpi is nice. There's a handy button that switches the DPI of the mouse right under the mouse wheel. The three buttons on the side are all programmable And for games you can set them to anything you want to do.Its a little bigger then most mice and may take a bit getting used to (maybe kids will have problems using it).
In a fps I usually set the buttons to: reload, Voice chat, Use(open door).
Customer Review: Great Mouse...Life Not to Great. Summary: 4 Stars
Don't get me wrong, this mouse is a good gaming mouse. 1800Dpi is alot for that. I recently have been having problems with this mouse, After 5 months of use it is starting to freeze/skip. So when your playing counterstrike source, per say. You dont want it to skip around and freeze or your dead.
But this was a GREAT mouse for the 5 months that i've had it.
Customer Review: Excellent bargain gaming mouse Summary: 4 Stars
No replacement for a logitech G5 rev.2 if you have one (like I) but is a nice mouse to have for my gaming notebook. 3 thumb buttons, on the fly DPI adjustment, fits pretty well, cool red glow. Don't need to install the drivers on the CD, just plug'n play!
Customer Review: For the sale price, it was a good deal Summary: 3 Stars
I bought this item at the time it was on sale, and for the money you couldnt do better. There are plenty of more advanced and expensive mice out there, but I was looking for a replacement for my dying mouse with a broken scroll wheel.
This device is definitely a bit longer than most mice of its category. It allows my hand to lay fairly flat along its length and its really quite comfortable for my hand size. One drawback about its length is that i find myself cradling the back portion with my palm which leaves my fingers depressing the back portion of the buttons, which sometimes requires slightly more force to press down than if my fingers were in the front portion of the buttons. This leads to maybe a fraction of a second lost when playing a game like an FPS or a RTS where every little moment can be critical. While this is likely not a big deal for most people with average hands, if you have small hands and are a serious gamer, you might want to find something a bit smaller.
The side of the mouse has a thumb groove that is much shallower than i expected. It takes some getting used to to feel comfortable with it, but it doesnt cause a hindrance unless you are very particular about having a deep groove there.
The side buttons have really not been all that useful, and I have not bothered trying to program them. When browsing, they are useful for quickly moving up and down a page, although the 3rd button acts as a back button for me and occasionally can be quite annoying if pressed accidentally.
The position of the DPI adjuster is right behind the scroll wheel, but there is a wide enough gap that accidental presses are a non issue. I always leave it on the highest setting and it works pretty well for me. This is not a very advanced mouse in that sense, but the 3 settings are adequate.
the scroll wheel is nice and smooth, while the clicking mechanism for it feels a bit heavier than im used to.
The logo glows red and its not distracting, and allows me to find it in the dark, which i like.
I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a mid-range gaming mouse, although for the current price (1/09) im sure you could find something superior in the price range.
