I bought this keyboard to play games easier. It definitely does that. The software comes with a HUGE number of presets. You just select the game and jump in. Even better, it has a setting to detect the game and it switches the controls automatically! The only downsides to this otherwise awesome keyboard is the fact that in order to use the following keys:(Find, Home, PgUp, My Comp, Ins, End, PgDn, Show Desk, Del, Cut, Copy, Paste), you have to turn off numlock and the arrow keys are in a weird spot. I'd highly recommend it to any gamers looking for a new keyboard.Customer Review: satisfied customer

I love this keyboard! The macros are great and easy to use. The colors are cool.
The only thing I would change about the keyboard is that the number pad and the INS, DEL, HOME,END...keys are shift variated. I got around that though by assigning the INS, DEL, HOME, END...etc keys to the buttons on the left.
Other than that, everything installed quickly and easily, the jacks for the headset and mic work, the extra USB ports are convenient, and I love the music fast keys as well.

great keyboard, it takes a while to get used to the game pad , but you will
--the illumination is awesome, the only con i see is the merged numeric pad with the navigation pad, you have to be activating and deactivating the block if you wanna use one or the other, a little annoying if are accustomed to delete files with the DEL key and type numbers with that numeric pad.but i think you will get used to it too.

Having used a lot of keyboards for Gaming, I must say that this one is mighty nice! I have also used some of the game pads but just couldn't get used to them.This one is very easy to use. The only con that I can find is that I can't find Instructions on how to set up profiles on the keyboard. Maybe I'm just not looking in the right place but I have looked all over.

Pros: Backlit keyboard, separate game pad area, and audio control buttons makes Merc perfect if you're a serious gamer
Cons: They changed the traditional number pad so I'm constantly having to fiddle around to figure out how to do stuff. Wish they had kept that the same.
