Customer Review: Cool Keyboard, wished it lasted longer

I have had this keyboard for a very long time.....I started with the original WoW keyset and had to replace that twice. Now, I bought the BC keyset and this is my second one. I love the functions, or I would have just gone ahead with a regular keyboard a long time ago. I prefer this keyset over the original cause it has PVP and raid functions. I do recommend this product for WoW gaming it does make things easier, but like I said....I just wish it was more durable.Customer Review: Over-rated

This product went belly-up after 1 year of use. My son and I were both using and we did switch keyboards often as he enjoyed the WoW keyboard and I prefered a regular qwerty board. I don't know if it was the constant changing of keyboards that caused the problem or near constant use or just poor design. We have shared a Dell keyboard that came with the computer (nothing fancy) for over 5 years now and it still works so I'm thinking zboard isn't made to last.
As for how good it makes you at WoW. All I can say, is I didn't use any of the special buttons. There really is nothing this board and keyset does for you that you can't already macro in-game. You then have to learn new placement of keys if you do use it and were able to get it installed (also not very user friendly).
My son did love it, but I watched him using it and didn't see him using any of the "special" keys either. I think with the kids, it is just eye candy. Zboard is getting over-rated by younger folks who are enamored by WoW and anything WoW related. The keyboard itself may deserve an average rating but I'm going low because I really think 1 year is poor and an over-rated product needs some balance.
Short review- Maybe 3 stars if you don't mind difficulty of use and it lasts more then a year (mine didn't).
1 star because it is over-rated and needs a reality check.

I'm not one for throwing things away. I'm a serious pack rat, but this board was defective. I downloaded the stuff I was supposed to and never could get it working. I even had my Tech buddy see if it was just me doing something wrong. Shift button never worked, and drivers never worked right either. I ended up tossing it and went with a left handed game controller instead. Zboard had the right idea, the emote buttons and PVP set up was such a cool idea, I just wish I could have made it work right.Customer Review: Don't forget to order the gaming keyboard

The item is an overlay for a gaming keyboard. Since I didnt have the original keyboard needed, I haven't used it yet. So I rated it one star because I couldn't find in the advertisement where it says keyboard overlay. It does say keyset, which I did not know was another word for overlay. This item will not work on a regular keyboard you must buy the zboard keyboard and good luck finding one.
