Customer Review: Direct USB Connection Preferred ...

As some others have commented, and at least on my system, this pad requires a direct USB connection with your computer; it doesn't like hubs and secondary connections at all.
That said, it performs largely as advertised (although, as the manufacturers mention might be necessary, I _do_ have to use the in-game mapping features to reassign one key on each session of play).
What it's most useful for is getting away from having to use horrible keyboard kluges such as the W/A/S/D workaround, which I find to be inelegant and distracting. If you ever wished you had an Arrow Keypad for your off-hand, this might be your solution.

I love my gaming pad it was well worth the money, you do have to update it once you install it so it works with most games. Not very easy to program the buttons if you want to switch them... you will have to do it threw your games keyboard layout to switch them... so that kinda sucked. Also my b (back up key) dose not work at all...has to be a defective keyboard button but the rest work. Great board and a must have if you love first person shooter games. takes a week to get used to but it took a week to get used the keyboard when i started playing online pc computer games. I was a little leary about trying this product sight unseen, but I've got to say how impressed I am by the Fang Gamepad. It's very high quality construction will last a long time. The keys are comfortable and responsive. The only complaint I would have is that the drivers that come with the gamepad will not auto update, but it was a simple matter to go the their homepage and download the most current drivers. I mainly use this pad for MMORPGs and it's been an awsome addition to my gameplay.Customer Review: good but could be improved

I purchased the Fang Gamepad for playing World of Warcraft. I have the Fang on the left, keyboard in the middle, and mouse on the right, and I love it. It is comfortable and I've never had a problem with it. The only issue I have is that all of the keys are prelabeled, and (for example) I use the run/walk key to sit down, or the reload key to autorun. It would be nice if Fang could maybe supply stickers to label the keys or something. I would recommend to anyone playing MMOs or FPSs.Customer Review: Great Product Reasonably Priced

Received the FANG over the Holidays. Love it!. I contemplated the full keyboard but, decided I like my ergonomic one. Now I have the best of both worlds. The FANG came with a ton of templates for games. The only game that I would like that is not in the templates is OBLIVION but, the FANG can be modified to work with it. Also, this is a USB device and my computer is on the right and I am left handed. The cable goes across my keyboard. I would like to see a wireless FANG.
