Customer Review: Very nice for a cheap cardboard-like box

I've searched a lot and there seem to be no good alternatives for storing CDs in a box of exactly the right size to hold them nicely. This box is basically a vinyl-cardboard material that snaps together. It is flimsy, but strong enough to do what it is supposed to do. I've stacked them four boxes high and that seems about the limit of height before bottom box would burst from the weight. They look really nice and cover fits securely enough. Note: I ordered four of them; three were perfect but on one the snaps did not line up so it had to be returned for replacement.
I would gladly pay more for a better-quality product, but this one does the job adequately for a decent price. No specific complaints and I'd buy it again.

All I needed was a CD box to put my CDs in and put them into storage to get them out of my way, so this works fine.
The construction is fine for long-term, minimal-use storage. Just be sure to hold the bottom and keep it square when moving with a lot of CDs, or it will rotate and the torsional stress will unsnap things. The middle divider is especially flimsy and disappointing. The cover fits, but it's not a smooth operation putting it on - take a bit of wrestling.
I wouldn't want to use this box if I were to be pulling CDs in and out all the time, but to get my CDs out of my sight and into the closet, it's a cheap and good-looking option.

When it comes to the basic function of holding your CD's this box gets the job done. It will actually hold just over 60 jewel cased discs, closer to 64. The cover material is a kind of faux leather sticker that has been placed over cardboard sides to make it appear professional. The click and snap sides will hold but can unlock if bumped even mildly. It's more than a shoe box but not even close to a solid case; however if you're looking for something affordable to temporarily store those extra CD's in I guess this will suit you just fine.Customer Review: It's just a box

If you are looking for a ready made system to organize a bunch of CD's in, then this probably isn't for you. I guess I should have investigated more as I was looking for a cheap solution to organize and store a bunch of CD's- this is just a box with a central divider. It does not come with dividers between the CD's that you can label - you will have to buy those separately. I bought these boxes to store my husbands extensive CD collection. They are easy to assemble and the material is sturdy. However the snaps "unsnap" easily which is not desirable when they hold a hundred CD's. I have similar looking boxes from Ikea which are lighter and don't unsnap. They are also significantly cheaper than these snap storage boxes.
