My son, the computer tech lost his wi-fi detector after more than a year of intense use (same make & model). We bought two more. They work well, saving time for me when I'm seeking a wireless hot spot. I'd say its a bargain at twice the price, but that might drive the cost up. Get one now while it's priced below its market value... unless you like wandering about with a booted-up laptop, looking for a wireless network connection.
