This cable is actually 2m, not 6 feet (that's just a little under 2m). It works fine and I get full speed data transfers with it. I ended up buying this when my hard drive started to fail and I wanted to backup my existing data before it failed. Why pay $20 for a cable when you get one that is no better than this?
