Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Nintendo Wii Component Cable AV Cable for HDTV/EDTV High Definition 480pCustomer Review: Smart purchase if you have a large screen/HDTV Summary: 5 StarsGone are the days of flickering jaggies on the 42" LCD screen that the standard s-vid connector put out. I wouldn't have guessed that the progressive scan would be so dramatically different than the interleaved at only 480, but it is. Super Mario Wii ware alone shows a big difference and DDR with the constant moving objects and tiny details are now not flecks of white flicker.
It appears it might do a little blurring, but frankly, I've not watched a lot of progressive scan content, so that might be the point. The blur isn't a BAD blur, it's more like anti-aliasing. It's good.
For $7.41 (shipped) I couldn't imaging buying a branded cable.
As for complaints about not labeling the connectors, don't let it worry you. Common sense should show that the RGB connectors right next to each other are the video components and the red/white next to each other are the audio.
Customer Review: Excellent value for the money Summary: 5 StarsThis was well worth the (very little) cost. Picture is certainly clearer and
I can now use the entire screen of my 40" LCDTV without "stretching" the content. Very happy with this.
Customer Review: Great product, great price. Summary: 5 StarsInstall was easy and straightforward and it worked right away with no issues. Just remember to go into your system setting on your Wii and upgrade the output to 480p to take advantage of the cable.
Customer Review: Thanks for quick shipment Summary: 5 StarsWe had purchased a new flat screen TV and was looking at this cables. TV is much clearer. Thanks for the qucik shipment.
Customer Review: Cheap Summary: 2 StarsThis cord worked fine on my 32"TV. However, I also needed it to work on my projector screen. The cord made the screen flicker on and off. I ended up returning it and spending the extra money on a Monster cable, which works great.
