But I only paid nineteen for mine, and didn't have unrealistic expectations about what I might get for my money. Not clear what some people's issues with the camera are, mine came with a clearly printed instruction manual, the software installed OK, and the pics look well worth the price. It's webcam function works better than most webcams I've seen people pay more for.

i had just recently bought this camera, and it was OK. the quaility of the pictures was pretty ok. i couldnt really understand it, and what really stinks is that i lost the stupid CD that comes with it and now i cant install it. overall i would say that the camera is a stinky peice of JUNK. now im begging my parent to buy me a REALL DIGITAL CAMERA!!not a peice of crap.Customer Review: Waste of Money!

Don't waste your money on this inexpensive digital camera - even at about $25, it's too much to spend for such a low quality item! I've already returned one (Toys-R-Us was great about the return!), after the shutter button broke after 3 days of normal usage/play. The camera is very cheaply made and not durable. It's almost impossible to get the wrist strap attached. Most importantly, the quality of the photos is terrible (fuzzy, grainy to the point of being unrecognizable!) - even on the best resolution where you can only take 19 pictures before needing to download. Another downside is that there is no screen to view the photos on the camera (which even the youngest kids expect these days!). The software that comes with the camera is confusing, but does have some cool backgrounds & picture editing effects.Customer Review: Digital Camera good software, poor quality

The Camera itself is very durable and would withstand a drop making it good for child usage. The software makes it very easy to upload photos and manipulate them and children would have a lot of fun with the different options available on the program. The webcam mode is simple to use, however it's hard to take pictures while using that mode. Now for the negative, the viewfinder doesn't line up even close to the photo, when you look through the view finder; the bottom of the photo is cut off quite a bit compared to what was seen. The photo quality is shoddy at best. Things that are smooth look grainy; the slightest movement causes the entire photo to blur to unrecognizable. And even without movement, the pictures are hard to make anything other than blurry or out of focus.Customer Review: Trashed my hard drive

I bought one of these SnapKids cameras for my kids for Christmas. They were thrilled and quickly shot a bunch of pictures. I installed the software to my Windows 2000 SP4 system following the instructions. I downloaded the pictures. All seemed fine, until I tried to access other files on my computer. I got a "disk error" message. Since nothing worked at that point, I figured I'd better reboot and try again.
CheckDisk started up immediately, with error messages about corrupted file tables. It was unable to recover much of anything. In fact, the entire hard drive had been trashed. After hours with various disk utilities, I was able to recover a few files. I lost months of digital photos (taken with my Nikon not with this thing), captured video, our budget files, basically everything.
Installing this camera's software was the only change I made. As a professional computer tech and programmer, I'm quite sure that this software was the cause of the problem not some other chance coincidence.
I've returned the camera to where I bought it. Getting the $20 back hardly makes up for the lost photos of my kids, video of my daughter's first words, and so forth.
