each one of my children got a camera for Christmas... and 3 of them are experienced photo takers. They have used disposable cameras and my digital camera to grab the shots they want, so getting their very own camera was exciting to them... until we tried to retrieve the photos. The low-res option (setting selected so that they could get more than 20 photos as they ran around snapping at everything!) gave them shots that came out black and white and so blurring that we couldn't tell what the images were. Changing the setting to high-res gave them colored photos but again, very blurry and not worth printing out. In addition, one camera got dropped and the lcd window is no longer legible. This is not a durable camera for a 3 year old who wants to do what his siblings are doing.
