Note this cable works to perfection for I have one etc... When using it for PS3 go to display settings and select D-terminal so you can get 720p or higher display. I would recommend to stay at 720p for 1080 i and p is not suited for a analog connection. For the Wii it works wonders just like using a regular component cable for the system. All you have to do with Wii is just hook it up correctly and it should automatically be in 480p. This device is good for consumers who would like to use their PC monitors for a high-res picture.
Pros:
Works with any PC monitor that has a VGA male input. (note that this vga cable has a female output)
Can get 720p for PS3 and 480p with Wii with no hassle
Great Picture
Cons:
Sometimes when playing certain Wii games like Call of Duty World at War and Mario Kart the screen may go black when you get killed/Hit by a explosion
Image may distort if trying to do full HD on a monitor
you may have to adjust your monitor's screen to get the right picture.

this is a great product for the price, it does what it says and is easy to use
**YOU MUST PLAY IN 480p**
1. OPEN PACKAGE AND PLUG THE CABLE INTO YOUR TV
2. GO TO WII OPTIONS > SCREEN > RESOLUTION > 480p
3. SETTINGS SHOULD SAVE, YOU CAN NOW BRING IT TO YOUR MONITER
THE ONLY PROBLEM WITH THIS PRODUCT IS THE FACT THAT THE SCREEN WILL GO BLACK FOR 3 SECONDS
EVERY 20 MINUTES OR SO
i like this product too much for it to be a problem to me though
i play animal crossing so it's whatever for me, after a day i got used to it
it does happen a lot during games with big bangs or flashes
it happens a lot during call of duty for example, but that shouldn't be a problem if you're a pro like me ;)
great product, i dig it 5/5 because i read previous reviews and was aware there would be black screen bug and it's not a problem to me

Well, I got my projector and this adapter on the same day. I knew I wasn't going to be able to play my ps3 with my projector without an adapter because it didn't have an HDMI port. I HATE reading manuals, so most often I don't, but because I did read that some people had issues getting their PS3 to link up right away, I read it anyway. I was quite pleased to know first of all it was only 1 short page and secondly, I didn't even need it because the adapter worked right away. I get a crystal clear image and the addition of the audio jack on the adapter made it really easy for me to plug it into my sound system to get a full gaming experience. I think this is a great product and I'm sure I will purchase another at some point in the next couple of years when I get a projector for my parents.Customer Review: Great solution for Cheap Hd gaming

This cable is a cheaper solution than buying a vga box and a good one. I use the cable on a 17 in and 22 in crt monitor that both output 1080i on my ps3. i cant speak about wii since i havent used it with it. the only problem i had with this cable was the l/r audio was mixed up. left was red and right was white but its not a big problem. Getting it to display on my monitor wasnt hard but had to do some research online since sewell direct didnt include them. buy this on amazon and not sewell direct cause they didnt include all the parts saying it was the way they do business. Actually dont buy anything from sewell direct. Its a good solution for anyone looking for HD gaming without buying a hdtv or expensive vga box.Customer Review: Yes! Works with Wii!

If you need another confirmation if this will work with the Wii, it worked on mine!
Before checking Amazon, I checked with Best Buy, Fry's, and Gamestop. They all said there is no such cable for this. So I'm so glad this thing worked!
Anyway, I initially thought it wasn't going to work. I had to change the video settings on the Wii to 480p (EDTV), which was initially disabled.
Then I had to carefully re-read the instruction sheet to know what to do to enable the settings. After that, it worked on my VGA monitor flawlessly!
