These are easy to set up took less than 1 minute and work well for my 91 year old father. He would get his TV messed up with the original TV remote and then I would have to go reset his TV to get it back to normal. I bought this for my mother for her TV in a nursing home. It is simple to program and to use. It worked great with the Toshiba TV there. I typed the programming instructions and printed them to a small piece of paper that I taped to the inside of the battery cover for future use.
