This is a great product. My mother has dementia and doing things like using a remote are very difficult for her. She seems to understand the buttons most of the time and this allows her to watch TV. She cannot remember how to operate the buttons on the TV but since this remote is very simple and easy to hold, she can operate her TV. I highly recommend this for anyone! It makes TV easy. This remote control that I purchased for my mom works excellently. She has Macular Degeneration and can not see very well close up. I needed to find her a remote that was easy to use and not confusing for her. This remote has only 6 buttons that light up. It is easy to use and works so well. Most remotes are ridiculously complex, especially for site-impaired elderly (such as my mother) who did not grow up with computers. If they can find/see the buttons at all, it is way too easy to hit 2 buttons at once. This remote was the answer for my mother. It was a bit challenging to program, but the effort was worth it. Got this for my 90+ Mom who wasn't able to operate the universal remote that came with her set anymore. This is just what she needed and works great. It did take a little patience on my part to cycle through the codes far enough to find the one that worked for her set (maybe 3-5 minutes time), but the instructions were easy to follow and everything worked as advertised.Customer Review: Product Utility

Just what the doctor ordered. Has a minimum of buttons with just required functions. No unneccessary buttons that just confuse my mother. Could not be easier to set up. Buttons are large so that my mother doesn't press multiple buttons at the same time. It is a control that doesn't confuse her and she can use. It is just what I was looking for. Price seemed reasonable.
