Customer Review: Great product that delivered faster internet speeds for me

I had been struggling with a Linksys adapter to connect to my Verizon Fios router wirelessly for years. I was loosing conections, having to reboot, and at best getting 17 mbs download speeds while the router one-room away was delivering the full 25 mbs speeds I was paying for. I had read that this was the best, so tried it. I have a Vista system and it installed perfectly. My download speeds increased to 22 mbs and best of all, no more lost connections, etc. My computer even ran better and flakey computer issues went away.
Here are some installation tips: If you are replacing an adapter, first uninstall those drivers and shut down the computer and remove the old adapter. Then follow the Hawking instructions. You will get to a point in the process where you choose whether you just want to install the drivers, or drivers with their utility. I chose to install just the drivers. I always reboot the computer after installing anything important.
Later called tech support to make sure I wasn't missing anything in terms of speed and they said not to worry, the utility is just for ease of installation if you hadn't set up your wireless connection before and didn't know how.
