This antenna did just what it said it would. It allowed my to reach my access point from a location in my house from which I could not even see the access point with the wireless card built into my laptop PC. And it did it within about 5 minutes after I opened the box from Amazon. Before using this adapter, I had spotty, at best, signal at our lake house. After installing the Hawking HWU8DD Hi-Gain USB Wireless-G Dish Adapter (which was a piece of cake) I have been able to access the internet with a strong and reliable signal. Can't recommend this product enough. Two of my neighbors have also purchased and are equally pleased.Customer Review: Simply put, it works well at doing what's it's supposed to do.

Okay, first of all, after reading the reviews and trying it out first hand,I have determined that there must be 2 different versions of this product out there! Perhaps an early model and one that has been improved and/or upgraded.

When I opened the box, I thought, this looks cheap and breakable. After setting it up and moving it around to get the best signal, I suggest minimal movement. Does it work, It sure does. I've extented my WiFi at least another 60 feet, which is what I needed. And I don't plan on moving it again.Customer Review: Great product

Needed a lot more range to reach the WiFi hotspot at our resort and this really did the trick. We must be 800-900 feet from the source and we get an acceptable signal that let's us hook up without having to go outside and close the distance. We can take it with us and use it as we travel too.
