I've gone through quite a few cheapy PC speakers in the past. These little puppies pump out sound that is hard to believe. These are not symphonic sounding speakers but put out quite a nice sound for PC use. I hooked them up to my iMac which has awful internal speakers. For the price, they sound great! These compact speakers are far better than my expectation. I have been using these speakers for two years, but I have never had problems. I am still happy with the quality sound. It is amazing how these small speakers can provide such wide range of frequencies. I AM VERY PLEASED WITH ITS SOUND OUTPUT, LOOKS, AND EASE OF HOOK-UP. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE TO ANYONE LOOKING FOR A SET OF PC SPEAKERS. THERE ARE REASONABLY PRICED AND SOUND WONDERFUL. This is the second pair we have purchased, and I believe they are a great value for the size. The sound is not top of the line, but it is pretty darn good, especially for $40 speakers. Way better than any built in speakers and they make movies and music much more desirable. I also take them on trips and use them with an ipod frequently and they sound great.Customer Review: quality product for the price

For the price, these speakers are great. I find the sound quality to be excellent...these were a wonderful option for my Macbook, as the speakers on it can be hard to hear.
As others have mentioned, the power/volume knob is somewhat slippery and thus hard to turn. However, I simply leave my speakers on and use the computer's volume controls.
