I bought this cooling pad for my mini HP netbook. Wow! It is the perfect size for my mini laptop and because of the foam material, my laptop sits secure and does not move while it sits on the pad. Works great on my 18.4 inch Sony laptop , feels very secure on my desk . Some times simple outperforms more complicated design. I own two more expensive stands Connectland Ergonomic Laptop Stand and Diplomat Desk Stand in my opinion this one is more comfortable if you do a lot of typing .Customer Review: Good Product

If you have a laptop it's important to make sure that it doesn't overheat. And if you can do that with out spending a fortune then all the better. Gateway Notebook was always hot on my lap while using and seemed to overheat easily. I looked into the different cooling pads and chose the Notebook Cooling pad....inexpensive,works beautifully and notebook is much cooler while using.
