I just wanted to buy an inexpensive device to cool my laptop. This works very well. All it really does is prop up your laptop, but it really does cool down my computer. I think that it will extend the life of my laptop, which is the reason I bought it for.
Don't waste your money on those expensive coolers with fans- this works just as well, as long as your laptop has a working fan.

This is what I was looking for. It lifts the computer just enough for air circulation but the laptop keyboard is still comfortable to use. And it works on all my mobile computers--a 17 inch Qosmio, a 15 inch Satellite and my new tiny netbook. The computers seem to be the steadiest when the pad is sticking out a few inches in back. I use this pad now with my 15.6" Toshiba Satellite laptop and works just fine. The gap between the base and the table can create a cooling effect. However I haven't used the laptop too long to acid test this product. Also the tilted position of the laptop just makes it comfortable for typing with ease. This cool little gadget bumps my laptop up off the counter and lets air circulate around the bottom of it....It's exactly what I wanted at a price you just can't beat.....I have it on my kitchen counter and it does not slip around or leave a mark. It's a groovy cool deal all around!! Glad I made this purchase !!

Very affordable piece of foam that really works in increasing the air-flow beneath my highly utilised 5-year old laptop. The fan makes less noise now. In addition, my posture at the desk improved since I started using this product over a month ago. Wish I thought of getting something like that earlier!
