Once I purchased my laptop, I started looking around for a laptop pad, I figured that I would need something to keep the laptop from heating up. I found many cooling pads with a fan for around $30, I thought that the fan was uneccessary for me and a waste of money. I found this notebook cooling pad on Amazon and it seemed to match what I was looking for at about $8. After reading the reviews I decided to buy one to see how it would turn out, if it didn't work for me at least it was only $8.
I am really happy with my purchase! My laptop is always cool because the cooling pad allows the air to flow through. It is also very light, which I like especially if I'm using the laptop while I'm in bed. I think I can take this with me when I start school, it does not take up a lot of space so I can fit it in my backpack!
Some people did not like that the cooling pad is so small, I will admit that I was surprised when I saw the actual size of it, but that's not a problem for me. I leave my laptop on my nightstand while resting and in use, the small size of the cooling pad allows me to move the laptop on the nightstand, maybe angle it on the corner or the edge, for when I need to make room to set food or drinks on my nightstand. I also like how the cooling pad fits perfectly on top of my legs, I feel it would tilt or slide more if the cooling pad was bigger.
I purchased another laptop cooler for my friend who has a laptop, I have a 15.6" laptop and he has a 12.1" so it'll fit perfectly. :D
