These are your standard cd/dvd inserts. They are sturdy though and have a tab where the cd/dvd slips in to hold it in. The tab will keep the cd/dvd in if you accidentally pick it up the wrong way up. Otherwise the inside back of the pocket is smooth. You won't have to worry about your discs getting scratched like in some other holders.Customer Review: Perfect for the DVD books
