I just received this transmitter and was delighted to find it set to default 87.9 FM which is a clear, empty station ( at least in my area) ...it was already in DX mode and instantaneously started playing good, clean music as soon as I connected it to my ipod 4G...I am very happy with this little purchase as of now and the price was awesome too..
The mini-USB-port is a great idea too which will enable any standard GPS/car charger to plug in...

Just wanted to comment on this product. I have had a few FM transmitters for the Ipod but none as durable as this one. I accidentally sent it through the washer and drier and it still works. Granted the covers came off in the process but it is still functional. The one problem with it (but I have had this challenge with all FM transmitters) is the range is not always good. I will have to change the channel a few times to get one that works.Customer Review: THE 1 STAR REVIEWS ARE WRONG!!!

I had two friends who HATED this thing. They said they got terrible reception no matter what they did. I said, "What are you talking about? My iTrip is brilliant." Then I realized that they had not read the manual; the iPod MUST BE at a volume level of 50-70% and NO HIGHER -- any higher and the signal distorts causing a sound like the radio reception is breaking up. Now that they are using the device properly, they LOVE this thing.Customer Review: Awesome product!

I'd love to get a Bose system for my iPod, but don't have the money right now. I saw this and decided to take a chance, and I LOVE it! It tunes right in and sounds really good, better than I ever expected! I even had it tuned into my kitchen radio, and I also set the living room stereo. It came through- clear as a bell! I can't wait to take it down the shore and use it on the beach! I would've gotten this a long time ago!Customer Review: I love these things!

I love these things! I'm on number two after accidently washing the first one. It's inexpensive, its wireless and the music comes through perfectly clear if you put it on a truly blank station. It's easy for me to find a blank station to put it on where I live, I wonder if some of the other reviewers live in a place where that's more difficult. I've recommended it to everyone I know.
