Reading the mixed reviews had me second guessing this charger especially with the term "redesign" in the name... I'm totally satisfied with this charger! Read issues with short cords, tight fitting plug, heat... This charger has none of these issues! I especially like the locking feature of the plug keeping the phone from getting loose. This is my second one... Not because it went bad or anything like that, It dropped between the seats on my last fishing trip and got mutilated when someone adjusted the seat position.
I didn't think twice about which charger I wanted to get to replace it.
Do not hesitate getting this model if you need one.

Works well with my iPhone 3GS. Charges quickly. I like the glowing color of the charger to indicate charging vs done. I have no tried to sync with this cable. Cable is a good length, allowing my iPhone to rest in the cup holder or on the passenger seat comfortably. Also long enough to easily talk on the phone while it is charging.Customer Review: Does the job

I just needed something to charge my iphone in the car while talking. This does the job. I have kept most of the cord wound up just as received by the manufacturer, this keeps the entire package neat and easy to stow away. I usually charge the phone while running the hands-free bluetooth. No problems with any faulty hardware, etc.Customer Review: Great charger for iPhone 3G

This charger is great. I like the fact that the barrel is short size and is not really wide at the part where you plug in the usb cord. I like the fact that you can disconnect the usb wire and use it on the computer. Great price for this product. Cheaper than buying in the apple store. DOES NOT WORK ON IPHONE 4
