I always am frustrated by reviewers who order a product without reading all of the information provided on the site, then post a negative review when they discover they made an errant purchase. It is not the fault of the product, but of the buyer. "Caveat emptor" is inappropriate in such cases, unless it is modified to "Let the CARELESS buyer beware."
Now, as to this dock, I could not be more delighted. It is a dual-dock charger. It does not sync or provide linkage to your sound system - nor does it claim to. It is a charger for two iPods and/or iPhones and does a wonderful job of that.
My wife has a Nano she used when exercising and an iTouch for everything else. This gave her a perfect place to store - and charge - her devices when not in use. I have an iPhone and an iPod Classic, so I well may purchase another for my study, since I power my PC down at night.
If you have more than one iPod, you need this charging station. It is great!
