I saw several items like this before deciding and due to different reviews I read, I thought that there shall be a balance between the price and the final sound quality for me to take the risk. I read some concerning reviews about the sound quality in similar items and well, I decided to try with this one and it has been a good decision. I have no compliants at all. The sound is good enough and it is easy to handle. For this price the transmitter is a real bargain.Customer Review: just what I was looking for

I bought the iTrip for use with my ipod video, and have been very satisfied. The product was recommended to me by my sister, who has one herself. But buyers should be aware that the transmitter fits very snugly against the bottom of the ipod, so most cases interfere with the transmitter making a good connection to the dock port. I would also recommend the purchase of griffin's 'power jolt' auto charger with this product, as it connects directly into the transmitter.Customer Review: Better than my last one

My last transmitter was stolen. I am infinitesimally pleased with this fact, because it forced me to purchase a new one; this new one works better and more consistently than my old. The old had a nasty habit of not turning on when the iPod was on and playing; this resulted in six to eight minutes of frustrated resetting, un- and re-plugging, and general helplessness until it randomly decided to activate. When i purchased the product I was unsure if it would work and work well. When i tried the product out it worked amazing once you find the right station the music comes in with no static. Great quality. i can use the transmitter with the evo iskin case still on. the one downfall is that the transmitter runs off the ipods battery so battery life does drain fast but other than that this is a great product that i would recommend to anyoneCustomer Review: It does everything you need ...

I love this iTrip. For $30, it does what the competition does for $60+. It is a lot better than the original iTrip I had for my ipod mini. There aren't anymore syncing problems. It connects right away compared to the older version which might not sync immediately 20% of the time.
With that said, I haven't tried the other products, but I can't imagine what they can do that this one doesn't do.
