Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Griffin 9781-TRP30BK iTrip FM Transmitter with Dock Connector for iPod (Black)

Customer Review: Awesome Sound
Summary: 5 Stars

This product is very nice. At first I thought that maybe it wouldn't be good but when I recieved it and tried it I loved it. The fact of no wires and that it just plugs into the bottom of my ipod is nice. I also thought well if this is plugged in then I won't be able to listen and charge my ipod at the same time for long trips. That's not true either. I just happen to have a motorola Razor and I looked on the bottom of my transmitter and it has the same charging plug as my razor so now I truly can charge my ipod and play music for lengthly trips. Overall I'd say this is a must buy.

Customer Review: To find the best frequency for your ZIP-code:
Summary: 5 Stars

I just got one of these and if I move it around a bit in my Saturn, it comes in great. I got this web-site from an Apple Wizard. Go to:

[...]

Enter your ZIP-code or City & State and it gives you a number of frequencies (stations) to tune your radio and iTrip to in the order of "Best Bet!" to "Good". Saves time searching and it works. Keep in mind that as you drive to your destination, you may have to change the frequency to what's best for that area and clear reception in a heavily populated area will be challenging. Good luck :)

Customer Review: Fantastic - almost as good as an IPlug
Summary: 5 Stars

I saw so many bad reviews I had to put in my two cents... This Griffin iTrip works fantastic compared to the other FM transmitters I've tried. Flawless as soon as you find an okay channel - I had to try three before finding one that works great! Yes, you do need your ipod no more than 2-3 feet from the radio but if you're driving the car you wouldn't want it further anyway. I tried this transmitter in the car then hooked up the plug to the radio - it was pretty close in sound quality... just had to turn the radio up a bit. Fantastic product.

Customer Review: Great
Summary: 5 Stars

I got this product to replace the USB ipod cord that I was originally using in my car. This though works perfectly for me as there is a free station in my area and there is very little white noise whilst it is playing. Took me a couple minutes to find how to switch the station (push the wheel in and then rotate it) but overall easy to use. Also doesn't seem to take too much of the ipods battery. I have used it with an Ipod touch 3g and 4g, the new ipod nano touch screen, and an older version of the nano. All of them worked the same.

Customer Review: I love it.
Summary: 5 Stars

I got this for use with my Video iPod, and am just thrilled with it! I read some of the bad product reviews before I bought it (about poor radio reception and malfunctioning transmitters), but have had absolutely no problems with it! It works great around the house and in my car. Occasionally you do have to switch broadcast stations for it when driving for a long car-ride, but that is not enough of a pain in the butt to even complain about really.

Works as promised, and you can't beat it for the price!
