I was skeptical of using an FM transmitter for everyday use, but this has blown me away. The sound quality is about the same as radio, as one would expect. I get some static going through certain parts of town, but after using it for a few weeks, I've become used to it and am no longer bothered by it. I have also used it outside of my car, to play on radios at friends' houses or at work. A very nice added feature that I hadn't given much thought to when I purchased it. Overall, I highly suggest this to anyone who wants to get easily play their iPod in the car or elsewhere without worrying about having the proper connections for the specific situation.Customer Review: Works great

Only a few radio stations come in good on my 3-year-old SUV, so I wondered how this transmitter would work. But for the price, I decided to try it. Upon removing it from the package and without any instructions, I was able to play my iPod through my radio. The sound is great, better than most of the stations that come through. I'm going to buy the charger that works with this for longer use. It does use up the battery on the iPod more quickly than regular use, but the charger should take care of that. Someone who reviewed said it only worked when pointed in the direction of the antenna. Mine works anywhere in the car. Great product for the price!
Alot of reviews mentioned static - This happens when the itrip gets out of range. THE RANGE ENTIRELY DEPENDS ON THE STEREO! not the itrip! In my living room stereo I can go into a different room! It depends on the antenna on the stereo.
Volume is good - no issues!
It turns on when you press play on a song. untill then youll have static, and when you pull it out youll have static (because it returns to the station)
Overall no issues, great product, great price, SUPER QUICK DELIVERY, super excited to play my ipod in the car - house and everywhere!

Love it! woroks well in my 04 toyota corolla and 06 chevy cobalt. Doesnt work in the center console but does work from the passenger seat or a dash mount, in the driver / passenger door. AWESOME! I am also the one who submitted pics for this item so look at those too.
Range of 30 ft? no. Enough range to work inside your car? Yes. I did my research on FM transmitters, and although this one is expensive comparatively, it is worth it. I would buy another one for a gift without hesitation

I was hesistant to buy this after reading the negative reviews, but I had no choice in the end as my car cannot be fitted with a CD player (due to factory installed tape player which is tightly integrated into the GPS/LCD control system) and the cassette player spits out the cassette type adaptors. I must as I was absolutely thrilled with it, the sound quality was pretty good (as good as FM can get) and the ipod can be safely tucked away in the glove compartment. I initially had some problem with static when I drove into the CBD area, but once I found a 'clean' FM channel, it was awesome.
