Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Gravis Eliminator GamePad Pro (PC/USB Mac)Customer Review: Guess what...poor calibration Summary: 2 Stars
I bought a Gravis Gamepad Pro about 7-8 years ago and it is still going strong to this day. My 6 year old and I have been playing Wakeboarding unleashed and knew we needed another gamepad. So this past weekend I bought the Gravis Eliminator Gamepad Pro. Unfortunately, I cannot calibrate it correctly. It keeps wandering to the left or right. When i called Gravis and asked, the lady with the foreign accent at tech support tried telling me that it was the game and that I needed to try another. I told her this was my only game. She said then that a technician would call me back.... still waiting. It's going back to the store.
Customer Review: platforming or fighting games? forget it... Summary: 2 Stars
if you're planning to use this controller with fighting games or platforming (such as mario or street fighter ii), forget this thing...it feels nice, looks nice, but the directional pad [is a peice of junk], no precision AT ALL...I couldn't even pull off a sheng long or a fireball until the 5th try (and i've been an SF junkie since 91) and i couldn't time my jumps correctly in super mario (been a mario junkie since 85!)this would be ok for rpgs i guess...i'm about to return it and get a psx-usb adaptor.
Customer Review: Disappointed Summary: 2 Stars
I had a lot of problems with this game pad. In using it, it was a little too sensitive. I tried adjusting it and just can't seem to get it just right. Too time consuming to figure out the right adjustments for each game you want to play. d
Customer Review: Dpad gets stuck Summary: 2 Stars
I bought this because I liked the feel and flexibility of the dpad, but I took the first one back because the dpad got stuck. Now my second unit has the same problem, after several months of use.
Customer Review: Bon format , mauvaise qualité ! Summary: 1 Stars
NHl 2002-2003 ! Prochaine manette ; Gravis éliminator , after shock (le modèle gris)
