I bought this for a client (we're a computer service company) and took it home to try it out. It was a big hit with the family. Everyone wants one in his own room. I'm a big radio listener, and in rural Northern California the options for radio are slim.
My younger techs all thought the device was ridiculous because you can stream radio stations on a laptop just as easily. However, this allows you to stream stations as if they were broadcasting locally and you don't have to tie up your computer. The 5-watt speaker is powerful and clear.
When I installed it at my customer's house, he was thrilled. He's a Lithuanian who was raised in Poland and then spent many years in San Francisco, so he set the radio's preset stations to Lithuanian, Polish, and San Francisco stations.
Great device. I'll definitely sell more of these.

i'd only add that setup was a joy - plug it in, enter the password for my network, scroll to "news," highlight "BBC," and listen. total elapsed time less than five minutes -- less than it will take to get those dam stickers off (anyone have a solution? -- the guy that decided to do that should get another job.)
i may read the manual for some of the fine points (e.g., the workaround to having only five presets), but it might not be worth it.
i contrast my experience here with the Roku, on which i spent hours over the course of two weeks, only to have the thing die.
like the other reviews said, looks good, works great, etc.

Easy to set up and use.
I've used it mostly for Old Time Radio broadcasts, so the sound is only as good as the source. But the speaker actually sounds quite good and there's even a 'bass port' on the rear of the case.
When you register on the Reciva site you can select and add programming to 'My Stations' by searching genre, location, or key word. Next time you turn the radio on, your selections appear on the menu!
I originally thought the small number of presets might be a problem. However, since you can scroll through 'My Stations' using the dial, presets are almost unnecesary.
Considering the price of competing units, this radio is a bargain. It does everything I expected and I'm very satisfied with this purchase.

This is my third brand of Internet Radio. It has excellent WiFi receiver sensitivity and connects very quickly. The menu is very intuitive and responsive. Also, the tonal quality is excellent. If you need stereo output, it's easy to attach an external amp and speakers, but I haven't found a need to do so. I've also found that responses to questions to customer support are rapid and complete. The Grace seems to have the best price/performance of anything else I've seen. So I just bought a second one!
Some might find the lack of a remote an issue, but I find just the opposite. It's great not to have to use a remote to get basic functions working! Besides, one of the other Internet radios I own requires a remote, and the remote is very intermittent.

I don't review many products, but I felt like I needed to this time. The Grace WiFi radio has brought great enjoyment to me. It was simple to set up, most everything is prompted on screen, I only had to turn to the manual twice to make sure I was thinking correctly. You only have to set it up once and then you are good to go. It connects to my wireless network without fail every time and hasn't lost connection once even when listening for hours. People who require pristine sound quality may be disappointed, but for me, as long as there is music coming out the speaker, I am happy. There are many places that I have been to or lived at where I was fond of the local radio station, now I can tune into them anytime from my kitchen and listen once again. Highly Recommended.
