When I first purchased this product, i was extremely disappointed. With the Sony charger, the battery would only give about 1/2 of a charge, and would last for about 75-80 pictures. Being somewhat stubborn, I purchased a cheap (under $10.00) charger to see what would happen. Happily, to my suprise, the battery now holds a full charge, and gives as many (or more) pictures than the original Sony battery. I am now a very satisfied customer!!! For a fraction of the cost, I feel I have a battery that is every bit as good as the original. I, also, have a spare battery that came with the cheap charger (although it is not rated as high as yours!), so I am now able to take 400+ pictures before needing to charge. I bought this battery for my Sony Cybershot H20 camera, as the camera came with a separate charger. My wife and I are having our first child in a few weeks and I didn't want to be left with a drained battery and no backup. I actually purchased this battery 4 months ago and had the chance to test it our over Thanksgiving and Christmas, using the camera quite extensively to really test how this battery held up, and I wasn't disappointed! It is a nice plus in that you can view the time left, as opposed to just a bar with the standard battery. It has held the charge very well thus far, and is a great buy, especially for the price!!Customer Review: Does not work with Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-TX5 (but battery is probably fine, so I still gave it 5 stars)

In looking for a new battery for my Cybershot DSC-TX5, I typed in NP-BN1 (the model number of the battery that the camera uses) into the Amazon search engine. This product came up as the #2 listing, second only to the original battery itself, so I bought it. Unfortunately, it does not work as a replacement for the DSC-TX5's battery... this product is twice as thick as the camera's original one, and doesn't fit in the camera. I'm guessing the battery works just fine, but I wanted to write this review so others wouldn't make the same mistake I did.Customer Review: good battery

This is the exact same battery that came with my camera and lasts just as long. If you take a lot of pictures you might want to consider having 3 batteries instead of two but I've only gotten into trouble once and that was when I discovered the non-brand-name car charger was not working properly - if I'd have had a decent car charger I'd have been fine but I did run out of battery that once time in Yellowstone when I took a lot of photos and videos and went through both batteries in one day. I dropped my original battery into a lake during a family trip and I thought the entire trip would get ruined because I was the only one with a good camera. I ordered this one during the trip since we were staying with some family for a few days. It arrived amazingly fast and was perfect. Just like the original. The battery life is good, not better than the original but I didn't notice any huge difference. It was a really great buy. Saved me as well since I was the only one taking pictures.
Definitely recommend them.
