Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Genius G-Pen F610 Ultra-Slim TabletCustomer Review: pretty decent Summary: 4 Stars
Overall the tablet is decent.
Pros: Large writing area + hotkeys. Works in windows xp, vista and 7. Also works in Ubuntu Linux.
Cons: Cable does not detach from tablet. You need XP tablet, vista or 7 in order to use inking in Microsoft Office. The pen kind of feels like a toy, pretty cheap plastic. Only comes with win xp and vista hotkey inserts. Hotkeys don't work in linux out of the box.
Customer Review: It works Summary: 4 Stars
I'm writing this review using cursive recognition on the tablet itself, so it can't be all bad. For the price it is fantastic. Its not a Wacom: it takes more pressure to make a mark, and the feel isn't as nice as a Wacom, but at about 30% the price of the equivalent Wacom, it has to be considered an overall great deal, and recommended for anyone who can't afford an lntuos.
Customer Review: elbow room Summary: 4 Stars
I have tried using a 4X6 tablet for years. It worked fine with my PC but when i converted to MAC having to make tiny motions was driving me crazy! I bought this for my sister who is studying Graphic Design and we both love it. it takes a few minutes to recognize the stylus when you get started but otherwise it is great. I am going to purchase one for myself soon.
Customer Review: Teaching Tool Summary: 4 Stars
This pad does a great job for me. I teach chemistry and I use it with an LCD projector. It is better than having an electornic whiteboard. I have an electronic whiteboard, and this product writes 10X nicer and you write 6 feet X 4 feet on a pad thats 8X11 or so inches. I love it!!!
Customer Review: Nice item for non-professionals Summary: 4 Stars
It is worth the money paid. It is not a professional thing, though. Sometimes it would lag, and that is creating ugly writing. If you use it with Photoshop it is great. It would react on the pressure, and the sketching is really easy. Great for fun, not for professional things.
