Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Genius G-Pen F610 Ultra-Slim TabletCustomer Review: Good Intro Tablet Summary: 4 Stars
I needed the ability to sign and annotate PDFs, so this tablet was the perfect solution. Using PDF Annotator and Nirto PDF, in combination with this tablet, all my PDF needs are met.
However, using Windows XP, when I plug it into a USB port (I don't leave it plugged in all the time), It doesn't always 'pick up' the pen when I try to sign. It is frustrating, sometime I have to reboot to make it work properly.
I also do see that the surface can get worn down/scratched easily, so I don't know how this would hold up under constant use.
Overall, you can't go wrong for the price.
Customer Review: Great for newbies Summary: 4 Stars
I purchased the Genius G-PEN F610 about a month ago and I really love it. In the beginning it was tricky for me to adjust and use. It's my first time using a tablet so I wasn't too familiar. Anyway, I practiced and practiced and now I like it much better than my mouse. I draw with it and color.
The only complaints I have is that it is a little too sensitive. The preset application buttons activate too easily if you accidentally tap or swipe them. It also starts to lag a little sometimes if you place the pen down too long.
I would definitely buy this product again if I needed it.
Customer Review: Great for the price Summary: 4 Stars
I purchased this product overseas while I was in Kuwait. I was in the market for one and while I was strolling through the P/X, I seen one of the vendors there that had a few of these. I paid a bit more than what Amazon is asking, but a lot cheaper than what Wacom is selling for!
I do not regret my purchase, yes is it not perfect and I had some little hiccups when using it with Photoshop, but nothing that makes it unusable. These hiccups cause a momentary 2-3 second inconvenience, but still works great!
I would recommend!
Customer Review: pretty good Summary: 4 Stars
Pretty content with this pen pad. Never used one before. There is a slight lag compared to a mouse, but that seems to be expected. I had a little difficulty with getting the pressure to work properly with Photoshop, but I researched that and it seems all pen pads have problems with it. The solutions was to open Photoshop with the pen ped. No problems after that. I only worry about the cord connected to the pen pad if it gets bent hard or dropped on. I love that it's very thin and works great with my laptop.
Customer Review: Good tablet for the price. Summary: 4 Stars
This tablet has a fairly good quality. It is very slim and spacious. However, the pen's weight is unevenly distributed (more towards the lower end), and it can be tricky to draw with varying pressure. I bought a large pad, thinking it was going to be easier to draw in, but in fact, straight lines can be hard to do because of the distance your hand has to travel. Just something to keep in mind, if you're new to graphic tablets.
