I am an aspireing Graphic Artist. I felt the need to buy a graphics tablet to keep up with technology. First off I am well aware that Wacom rules this realm, but I set my budget to $200. For my set budget, I could only get a small Wacom tablet, I felt the need for a bigger active area. After reading many reviews from experts I felt that this tablet was the more adiquit desecion; Then I found it here on Amazon brand new for only $[...]. Turns out I was right! First off the slim design is beautiful. I couldn't beleive how slim it was. The hot keys are a plus; in many reviews the hot keys are seen as a nuisance, this is very true. So why did I say it's a plus? It's because this can be fixed from the get go. You can configure this to your liking; With the default settings the applications open with a single click which means it can open when you are drawing too close to the edge. You easily set it so that the apps only open when your pen is held on the hot key for 1-5 seconds. The active area is the perfect size. The G-Pen F610 pressure level, resulution, max report rate, accuracy specs are nearly identical to the Wacom Fun which for my budget was the alternative, but the Wacom Funs' Active area is fairly small. This tablet also includes two replacement pen tips which is nice. If you are worried about quality Genius is making a name for themselves in this market. They've been featured in Photoshop user a few times and have had good reviews on their tablets. So if you don't have a big budget, you should definatly take a look at the Genius G-Pen F610 tablet.
