If you think you can take VGA and connect it to a composite (yellow), or S-Video (4-pin Din), input of your display, you know nothing at all about audio visual and do not deserve your money back. Understand that VGA has three color channels, RGB - Red, Green, and Blue, along with Horizontal and Vertical sync channels. This means you have to have 5 conductors (wires) to send this signal. If you think a cable can magically take those five channels, at high resolution, and convert it to 1 single chanel (composite - yello), or even 2 channels (S-Video - Luminance and Chrominance), then you must be an idiot. This cable is simply meant for a source device that can output composite video, or S-Video, through its VGA connector. It simply means it is using the VGA conectors pins to pass compoiste or S-Video. If the specifications of your device do not say you can do this, this cable will do nothing for you. Quit bashing things that you cannot comprehend. Just because you think a unit can do what you want it to, simply by looking at it, does not mean you should talk crap when it does not do what you "tought". Study something before buying next time.
