Customer Review: Works great and doesn't cost very much Summary: 5 Stars
I've tested this MIDI-to-USB cable under OS X (CoreMIDI) and Linux (JACK) with a Casio keyboard and a Yamaha digital piano. Everything works without problems. And the price point is remarkable! Most of these adapters seem to cost around $40-50, so this is quite a deal.
And yes, you need to plug the end that says "MIDI Out" into your "MIDI In" socket on your keyboard, but that's how it always is with MIDI...
Customer Review: It works perfect with my Fender Starcaster TT-1 Summary: 5 Stars
I bought the cable in order to connect my Fender Starcaster TT-1 to my computer with Windows XP. The plug and play installation was ok and the computer software (EZDRUMMER) recognized the connection like an Audio USB. I'm very happy with the product. Remember, The "In" must be connected in "Out" and viceversa. In order to obtain best results always connect the cable in the same USB port. I recommend this product.
Customer Review: A Fine Deal Summary: 5 Stars
Extremely affordable. Worked as promised. Timely shipment. Slight latency when driving keyboard, but hey, for the price... Perfect for musicians on the cheap just dipping their toes into the MIDI world (although I've been tinkerin' since my Atari ST days). I'm using it with LMMS on Windows Vista, a Compaq Presario CQ60 notebook, & an old Ensoniq SQ1. No problems. Definitely better than shelling-out $200+.
Customer Review: Works as advertised, cheap to boot. Summary: 5 Stars
I used this MIDI cable to connect my older Casio keyboard to both my PC (FL Studio) and my MacBook (Garageband). It works flawlessly on both, and considering most MIDI to USB interfaces cost as much $25-$40, these cables are extremely cheap. The cables have the "ins" and "outs" clearly marked to avoid confusion.
These cables are a really good value for the price, I high recommend them.
