Great piece of equipment. Several reviews said this product would not work on Windows 7 64bit, it does however work on my Windows 7 64bit laptop. No drivers needed, a driver was found and installed in seconds by Windows. Works well with my Casio keyboard for use as a midi control surface for Reason 4. Works as advertised and at a great price. Connected between a Korg Triton Studio and a Mac running Logic Pro and after changing Global MIDI settings on the Korg to turn OFF local MIDI control, was able to drive Logic's sound engine from the Korg and record. Cannot see spending more for another converter cable when this ones does the job cost effectively.Customer Review: Works as Described

This was the cheapest MIDI to USB converter that i could find, at about six dollars with shipping it was a great deal compared to others with prices that I've seen in the $30-$50 dollar range. This device worked seamlessly out of the packaging connecting my 88 key Casio keyboard to my laptop, I had no issues. Ordered Monday night arrived following Thursday in the mail. Plugged into my pc running Windows 64 bit Vista Home Premium. Windows loaded driver right away. I plugged in my midi controller and started Reason 4. Reason 4 recognized the new USB Midi connection and everything worked fine. No noticeable lag.
Great deal for $5.00.

Excellent buy. This one worked out of the box, on a 64 bit Windows Vista without any problems using Band in the Box 2004! Shipping was so quick. Recommended highly!
Had a lot of difficulty with MidiSport Uno. Would not install. Cost almost 10 times as much and the HDE model is superior despite the inexpensive price!
